Ingredients
- 1 c ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 2 c flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 1 t lemon juice
- ½ c margarine
- ¾ c sugar
Topping
- ½ c chopped nuts
- 1 c flour
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 T margarine or butter
- 2 t cinnamon
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients for the dough and set aside. Cream together the margarine, sugar and eggs. And the bananas and lemon juice and mix well.
Add in dry ingredients and mix until moistened. Then prepare the topping. Cover the banana bread with clumps of topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
Topping
Mix the sugar, flour and cinnamon together, then cut in the butter. Add in the nuts, and mix together well. Squeeze into clumps.
